Danelle Rottner

MA, LPC, CLINICAL DIRECTOR, THERAPIST, COACH

Danelle received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary. She is currently the Clinical Director and therapist for Aspen Christian Counseling. Danelle utilizes a holistic counseling approach to assist clients in achieving health and growth. Her areas of focus include fear and anxiety, adjustment and transition, depression, grief and loss, perinatal issues, abuse, family conflict, ministry burnout, and church leadership. Danelle also enjoys working with adolescents and young adults concerning identity, spirituality, and relational issues.

Joy Kirkland

MA, THERAPIST, COACH

Joy is Co-Founder of the Alethea Project. She has a Masters degree in Human Services Counseling, Joy studied Christian Counseling at Missio Seminary and has completed post graduate studies in cross-cultural trauma recovery. Joy brings more than 10 years experience serving individuals, couples, and adolescents in areas related to trauma, abuse, loss, life transition, personal and professional burnout, anxiety and depression. She brings a commitment to holistic counsel and a desire for each client to feel seen, heard, and empowered in various aspects of their wellbeing.

Kaelyn Richardson

MA, LPC, THERAPIST, EMDR & PLAY THERAPY SPECIALIST

Kaelyn earned her Master’s degree from Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, CO. She enjoys working with women, children, and families. Her approach to the therapeutic process includes an emphasis on the connection between mind, body, emotions, and spirituality. With a certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), she is also able to administer this technique to help women overcome struggles and traumas. Utilizing play therapy and evidence-based strategies, Kaelyn also enjoys working with children ages 4-10, teens and families to work through developmental, emotional, spiritual, and familial issues.

Rachel Hazenfield

MS, THERAPEUTIC CLINICAL INTERN

Rachel is a Masters level student in the counseling and clinical mental health program at Denver Seminary. A Colorado native, Rachel has a heart for the Front Range that she and her family call home. Her background in the medical field and applied neuroscience forms a passionate foundation to support clients. Rachel helps clients unpack and understand their story, harnessing the interplay between their physical experience, emotional wellness, and mental health.

Sara Andrews

COUNSELING INTERN AND CERTIFIED LIFE COACH

Sara is currently working on her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. She loves working with parents and teens to create positive relationships and help teens move into adulthood successfully. She also enjoys working with couples and families. Sara combines her life coaching experience with counseling skills to help her clients understand and improve their family relationships, gain emotional regulation and communication skills, and achieve personal growth. Sara also volunteers as a victim’s advocate and a restorative justice facilitator.
